Dianoetic has three models. Leave it on Auto and it picks for you, based on what you ask. Here's how they differ if you want to choose yourself.

Effort
Every model has five effort levels: Light, Medium, High, High-Plus and Ultra. More effort means longer thinking and longer answers, and costs more credits: Light is half price and Ultra is five times. At Ultra, the model writes a draft, reviews it like a strict expert, and gives you the fixed version.
Which one should I use?
- Not sure? Use Auto. It sends maths, logic and code to Oriel, creative writing to Fable, and quick questions to Canto.
- On the free plan? Canto is included, with 40 credits every 5 hours.
- Building something? Use Dianoetic Code, which runs on Oriel and can preview websites or edit your real project in the Windows app.

Is Dianoetic free?
Yes. The Base plan is free and includes Canto 2.0 with 40 credits every 5 hours and 250 a week. Thinker ($5 a month) unlocks Oriel, Fable and Dianoetic Code.
What does a credit mean?
Each reply uses credits: 1 for Canto, 2 for Fable and 4 for Oriel at Medium effort. Your plan's credits refill every 5 hours and every week.
Which model is the smartest?
Oriel 2.0. It reasons the longest, re-checks calculations and code, and powers Dianoetic Code.
